Zac Weeks is a contemporary country artist from Tasmania who has spent the past decade building a reputation as one of the state’s most engaging live performers. Known for energetic shows, authentic storytelling, and modern country hooks, Zac has developed a loyal audience through consistent touring and performances across Tasmania.

In recent years, Zac has been working with multi–Golden Guitar winning producer Matt Fell, refining a contemporary country sound designed to reach audiences beyond his home state.

His recent releases have begun gaining traction nationally. Cowboy Hat reached the AMRAP Top 10 for Regional and Remote Communities, while follow-up single Shotgun Lover reached No.6 on the Tasmanian and Australian OZ CMR Top 40 Country Charts.

A committed live performer, Zac has appeared at major Australian country events including the Deni Ute Muster, along with regional festivals such as the Good Gumnuts Festival and the Devil Country Muster. He has also supported leading Australian country artists including The Wolfe Brothers, Wade Forster, Shannon Noll, Lane Pittman, Andrew Swift, and Amber Lawrence.

In 2026, Zac was selected to attend the CMAA Senior Academy of Country Music where he was mentored by Gretta Ziller. He also returned to the Tamworth Country Music Festival, performing at the Opening Concert at Toyota Park and competing as a finalist in the TMFM Discovered competition.

His growing profile was recognised at the 2025 Tasmanian Independent Country Music Awards, where he was named Rising Star and received nominations for Male Artist of the Year, Performer of the Year, and New Artist of the Year.

With new music scheduled for release throughout 2026 and plans for regional mainland touring with his band The Forged, Zac Weeks is continuing to expand his audience and presence within the Australian country music scene.
